Preparation

Come to have fun. You may choose to read one or two nlp books or listen to some nlp cd's, however it is not essential - It is far more important to come with an open attitude and watch and listen in order to make up your own mind. Treat the seminar as an adventure. We let you borrow a selection of books during the seminar so can can choose to buy them or not later.

Start times

10:00am the first day (we strongly suggest you arrive by 09:30am so you are not rushed) and 09:00am for subsequent days. We normally end at 05:00pm and will give those that are interested the opportunity to stay and ask questions or watch some interesting NLP or NHR videos. However on the last day we aim to finish by 04:00pm.

Hotels

We recommend staying on site - please contact telephone 01908 358040 to book. A low cost and surprisingly good alternative is the Premier Lodge at Caldecotte (0870 990 6558)  or the Premier Lodge at Furzton Lake (0870 990 6396) - This is nearer to Milton Keynes station and some people like the Milton Keynes Hilton ( Milton Keynes Hilton telephone 01908 694433) which is about 400 yards away. Or finally The Broughton a friendly (new) lodge hotel with a 'Hungry Horse' restaurant.

Maps

For details of how to get to the acccenture HR training centre, Swallow House, Kent's Hill Park please see:

http://www.ppi-nlp-store.com/maps.htm, please be aware there may be a slight delay at Swallow House reception.

Manuals

You will receive a practitioners manual - which applies to all practitioner seminars, together with an individual set of exercises for the Master Practitioner Modules. Please hold on to the manual! - it contains a very useful reminder.

Trust the Process

The content of the seminars has all been modeled from exceptional communicators. Trust the process. The key capabilities we suggest you focus on are: Setting well formed outcomes, behavioral flexibility and noticing the results you get (what ever they are). Getting the right results will then automatically come with time. We strongly  recommend you play with all the exercises - however let us know if something really doesn't 'feel right'.

Learning Style

Our approach is to demonstrate, get you to do an exercise  and evaluate the result, and then give feedback. We are interested in how things work and what works rather than why things work. This can be a real challenge to delegates with a 'theoretical' learning style - we ask you to stay with us. We are more interested in you getting the learning in the 'muscle' because this will enable you to do things in practice.

Feeling uncomfortable

There are times when you may  feel uncomfortable and confused (for reasons that may or may not be due to the seminar). This is part of the learning process - its how you react to these states that's important. However its one of our role's to ensure you leave in a positive state. Let us know if we're not on track to achieving this.

Some of our best practitioners felt a bit confused at the end of the foundation seminar, but still choose to continue to other modules, and learnt more out of the experience because of it. Sometimes you need to 'unlearn' what you've been taught before.

However in the end its what works for you that's important.

Evening sessions

We run evening sessions of either videos or additional exercises as part of our seminars on the middle days of our seminars. These are totally voluntary and normally last until 07:30pm (2 hours).

Want help?

Just ask, that's what we're here for!

Feedback

We are open to feedback, although we do not always use feedback forms at the end of the seminar (because its too late to to make changes to that seminar) - In the unlikely event you're unhappy for any reason let us know there and then - do not wait until the end of the seminar!

What's next

A strong point with our seminars is that you can use them as a communications 'top up' and just enjoy the process, or else as the starting point to become a master of the process. If its the later we do recommend further reading, listening and seminars

Contact details

Please leave messages on 01908 506563  - I'll pick them up and respond up to 15 minutes before a seminar starts
